The Thursday night (Oct. 12) program serves as the kick-off to a three-day weekend of speed at the Juniata County oval.
$5,000 cash in additional purse money has been added by Behrent’s.
Every driver finishing inside the top 10 receives an extra $500 courtesy of Behrent’s Performance Warehouse (with company decal displayed).
Additionally, all top-10 finishers will be entered into a drawing for three gift certificates to Behrent’s Performance Warehouse. The gift certificates are valued at $750, $500, and $250, respectively, to each of the three drivers drawn for a total of $1,500.

Behrent’s Performance Warehouse was founded by Harry Behrent in 1972 as Behrent’s Speed Center Inc., a general speed and tire shop aimed at the general automotive market. In 1982, a decision was made to focus on the parts and service market and leave behind Harry’s career as a driver. The speed center has grown to be a nationally known leader in the automotive racing industry.
Behrent’s Performance Warehouse is located at 38 Meadow Road Florida, NY 10921 and can be found on the web at www.behrents.com. By phone, call 845.651.7389.
Behrent’s Performance Warehouse ‘Preliminary Night’ is preceded by a Thursday morning Open Practice taking place from 10 a.m. and running until 12 p.m.
The full weekend of racing takes place Thurs.-Sat. Oct. 12-14, culminating in Saturday’s 75-lap, $50,000-to-win main event for the STSS big-block/small-block Modifieds.
On Friday (Oct. 13), the Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Cars join the program as part of Bob Hilbert Sportswear Qualifying Night.
The lightning-fast 410 Sprint Cars race for 25 laps around the sprawling half-mile for a $5,000 winner’s share and the STSS Modifieds begin their quest to qualify for Saturday’s main event, with 15-lap Qualifying Races.
The STSS Crate 602 Sportsman hit the sprawling half-mile for the first time on the weekend, taking part in 15-lap Qualifying Races and full-fender Pro Stocks – based in New York State – will also be on hand for practice rounds.
The main event takes place on Saturday (Oct. 14) as The STSS Modifieds and STSS Crate 602 Sportsman will run last chance races to set the field for their respective main events.
The ‘Speed Showcase’ championship for the Modifieds battle for 75 laps around the ‘Speed Palace’ with $50,000-plus reserved for the winner.
The STSS Crate 602 Sportsman race in their most prestigious event of the season, as the ‘Speed Showcase 50,’ pays $4,000 to win and $200 just to take the green.
The Pro Stocks run a full program on Saturday as well to complete the program.
