Rained Out: Selinsgrove Icebreaker™ Canceled Due to Rain, Port Royal a œGo? for Sunday

Written by Chris MooreSELINSGROVE, PA Rained out.Due to a forecast with rain and thunderstorms throughout the day, Bob HilbertSportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco and SelinsgroveSpeedway officials have made the decision to cancel Saturday™s (March 19)Icebreaker™ event.There is no make-up date currently scheduled.With the cancelation, attention turns to Sunday™s (March 20) Spring SpeedShowcase™ at Pa.™s Port Royal Speedway.The sprawling Juniata County half-mile now hosts Round No. 1 of the Hurlock Auto& Speed Supply South Region for the STSS Modifieds.The STSS Modifieds race for a $5,000 triumph in a 40-lap main event, with a totalpurse of over $26,000 up for grabs.The Zimmer™s Service Center ULMS Super Late Models join the STSS Modifieds in a30-lap feature event, giving Central Pennsylvania fans two headline divisions on thesame day.For the March 20 event, all gates open at 1 p.m. with hot laps to begin at 3:30 p.m.and racing to follow at 4 p.m.Adult admission is $25. Students (ages 13-18) admission is $15 and Kids 12 &under get in FREE.
