All Eyes on Action Track: STSS Modifieds Invade Aug. 1 for $5,000-to-win Brawl™

KUTZTOWN, PA All eyes on Action Track.

For the first time ever, the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco roars into Berks County, Pa., at Action Track USA for a the must-see Berks County Brawl™ event.

The STSS heads to the quarter-mile bullring for a non-points event on the Rent Equip/Party Central South Region tour.

After a rainout on July 9 at N.J.'s Bridgeport Motorsports Park, the stars of the STSS South Region have not competed since May 16 when Frenchtown, N.J.™s Billy Pauch Jr. won the Diamond State 50™ at Delaware International Speedway in Delmar, Del.

Pauch Jr. heads the South Region standings and runs weekly on Wednesday nights at Action Track USA in a USAC All-Pro SpeedSTR.

Now, Pauch Jr. and the rest of the South Region stars fire back to life for a non-points event when the STSS big-block/small-block Modifieds make their first ever appearance at Action Track USA.

The STSS will also debut a unique format for the event on the tight bullring.

The top-16 qualifiers from heat races and consolations will transfer to the 50-lap main event paying $5,000 to win, $1,000 for 10th and $500 to take the green.

The complete A-Main pay structure is as follows: 1. $5,000; 2. $3,000; 3. $2,000; 4. $1,500; 5. $1,400; 6. $1,150; 7. $1,125; 8. $1,100; 9. $1,050; 10. $1,000; 11. $750; 12. $650; 13. $550; 14. $525; 15. $515; 16. $500.

A 20-lap B-Main will be run paying $1,000 to the winner and $100 to take the green for the first 16 non-qualifiers.

The complete B-Main pay structure is as follows: 1. $1,000; 2. $600; 3. $500; 4. $300; 5. $200; 6. $150; 7-16. $100.
