STSS Modified Tire Rule Set for Fonda Speedway’s Famed Fonda 200 Sept. 12-14

FONDA, NY – The stage is set for one of dirt Modified racing’s most iconic and historic events: the Fonda 200.

Fonda Speedway hosts the three-day racing festival Thurs.-Sat. Sept. 12-14 headlined by the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco Fonda 200 for the big-block/small-block Modifieds.

STSS and Fonda Speedway officials have set the Fonda 200 tire rule for 2024.

To start and at all points during the 200, teams must utilize the American Racer D3B right-rear; American Racer D1B left-rear; American Racer 48 right-front; any American Racer left-front.

During Friday night’s Qualifying Races, Saturday's B-Mains and Thursday night’s ‘Underdog 33’ event, teams may run the standard Fonda Speedway American Racer compounds: American Racer 56 right-rear; American Racer 48 left-rear; American Racer 48 right-front; any American Racer left-front.

Since 1953, the “Track of Champions” Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing. Under the management of BD Motorsports Media LLC, the speedway will operate weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events.
