GEORGETOWN, DE – The final go-round.
This weekend at Georgetown Speedway, the 2024 Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco season – which began back in February at All-Tech Raceway – concludes with Mid-Atlantic Championship Weekend.
Both the STSS Modifieds (40 laps, $7,000 to win) and STSS Crate 602 Sportsman (25 laps, $2,000 to win) take part in the Friday-Saturday program at the historic Sussex County oval.
STSS Modifieds compete in timed hot laps and heat races Friday (Nov. 1) with consolations and the main event on Saturday (Nov. 2). For STSS Crate 602 Sportsman, hot laps take place Friday with two redraw positions available. Their complete program takes place on Saturday.
STORYLINES
Three series championships will be decided during Mid-Atlantic Championship Weekend.

Sheppard has a commanding lead in the Ollie’s Overall title chase, 154 points over Stewart Friesen.

Drivers can gain or lose as much as 90 points with the championship point breakdown offering 150 to win and 60 to take the green.
